[It was not a secret that Jefferson hated Wonderland. He had, in fact, specifically stated this as being a fact on several occasions. His exact words had been 'I hate Wonderland'.

Still. He could not help but feel protective of some of the denizens, especially when on a trip to other worlds he discovered these sort of...terrifying interpretations of what they looked like.]

[He stares at him darkly for a moment, then his expression brightens. It's almost playful-- but then, with Pan, playfulness can be quite dangerous.] In the mood for a game, are you?

With you? Hardly ever. Why are you so interested in 'it', anyway?

I have my reasons. [There's a laugh, a small chuckle.] Were you really expecting more than that?

No, but people can hope. Hope is a wonderful thing. Did you actually expect me to give it to you?

Honestly? Not without some... [He takes a step closer to Jefferson.] Incentive. Like, what's her name... Grace, for example?

[Jefferson frowns.]

[Small white dogs sitting on his porch get stared at. With a puzzled look. As if this is not really a dog, but a liquid metal terminator that is going to spring up and kill him where he stands.

Maybe it is, he has no idea.]

[Kara is on her hands and knees looking under a bush for her missing pup... Her very muddy pup... who isn't where she thinks he is.]

Darn it puppy... get back here...

[Krypto looks in her direction, but stays on the porch... Leaving muddy tracks and splatters everywhere. Someone has obviously been playing in the dirt and doesn't want a bath.]

[She looks towards the voice, spotting the very muddy pup... and the mess he's making of the poor guy's porch.]

[The pup's tail wags, and then he scrambles to get under the porch... and Kara just sighs as she walks over, peering into the hole the pup managed to make under the steps.]

Yes, it's him... I'm so sorry about this.

It's fine. Totally fine. Doesn't want a bath, I guess.

[She gets down on her hands and knees, then reaches into that hole. There's a little puppy yelp as fingers snag that collar and she drags a very dirty puppy out from underneath the porch.]

Still... I'm sorry about the mess. I'll clean it up as soon as I have this troublemaker clean. [She gives Krypto a small glare, who just snuggles into her arms and licks her chin, covering her in mud and making her sigh.] It's a good thing you're cute...

[John smirks, a bit, at the dog.]

I'd offer my garden hose, but he might just run back into the mud.

[She sighs and looks down at the very muddy puppy.]

You might be right about that... I should take him home and get him cleaned up...

[A pause as she looks at the mess Krypto has made of John's porch.]

I'll be back in a couple of hours to clean up the mess he's made.

[Hook in the Enchanted Forest, that was something that Jefferson expected. And it wasn't as if he'd never run into the pirate in all of his hopper-travels. But Hook in Storybrooke, wandering around. Talking to Emma and the Charmings and Regina. That was...

weird. Odd. Strange. Freaky. Oddball behavior.

[Hook's surprised too, considering the last he'd heard of Jefferson, he was trapped in Wonderland at the Queen of Hearts' command. After a few moments, he excuses himself from Emma and the others and makes his way over to Jefferson.]

[She ended the curse, which he should probably be less surprised at. And he's grateful, obviously. It helped him get his daughter back...eventually. Though perhaps that was more on Henry than on Emma Swan.

He should be more apologetic than avoiding. After all, he did drug her and her...mother. And he had more to do with Henry's poisoning than he really would like. So he should be full of 'sorries' and 'apologies', they should be exploding towards her. But instead, he avoids her.
